Elder Law

THE PROBLEM: Will You Be Overwhelmed by Legal Issues When You Are Older?

Legal issues impacting the elderly can be complicated. Regulations and red tape can appear overwhelming. Typical questions we hear include:

If you have any of these questions, then talking with an elder lawyer can be of assistance to you. Planning can eliminate or reduce some of the red tape. The most successful strategy for dealing with elder law issues is to address them early before they become issues and even before you are “elderly”. We encourage our clients to be pro-active and think about some of the risks that healthcare, taxes, social security, and estate planning place on us if proper planning is not followed.

THE SOLUTION: The Delta Law Process!

Delta Law Group deploys technology, efficiency and experience to make elder law easier.

Delta Evaluates Your Situation.

During your initial phone consultation, Delta will determine what your budget and elder law needs are. As part of the process, we will evaluate your estate plan. Many estates can use just a combination of a Will, Power of Attorney and Living Will. If you have an estate valued at higher than $2 Million, have a special needs child, have more complex ideas on how you want to leave your estate such as you are married and have children from a previous marriage and you’d like to leave your estate to the children after you and your new wife pass away, you are a small business owner, and/or you fear someone will contest your will; then different strategies might need to be deployed involving more counselling and possibly using different language. Even in these cases, Delta Law Group will use our software tools and experienced lawyers to offer an efficient process.

Delta Creates a Plan of Action.

For simple cases, we will provide you with online access to forms which you can fill in answers to. These forms are then reviewed online by an elder law attorney. There can be a follow up call with the elder law attorney to determine if edits are required. Once the attorney and you are satisified with the documents, you can visit Delta Law Group and have the documents signed.

For more complex cases, the elder law attorney and client can talk and the appropriate documents can be prepared and distributed again via our online case management system. This cuts down on travel time for both parties and gives our client access to an experienced estate planning attorney.

Delta Executes the Plan of Action.

Delta Law Group then works to review drafts of your documents or draft more complex documents. All along, an experienced elder law attorney is focussed on these task while offering the convenience of the online software for the client and attorney to jointly review documents and collaborate together.

Delta Works With You to Help Fund the Plan.

We accept credit card payments and offer several funding options for our clients.
